By accessing and using Rentoos, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. Rentoos is a free community platform that connects neighbours for tool sharing.

Rentoos is a free peer-to-peer tool sharing platform. We provide the online platform to facilitate connections between community members. Rentoos does not charge any fees, commissions, or service charges. We are not party to the actual rental transactions between users — we simply facilitate the connection.

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Verify your email address
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Use the platform in good faith to build community connections

Tool owners must:

• Provide accurate descriptions and photos of listed tools
• Ensure tools are in safe, working condition before sharing
• Set fair and reasonable rental prices
• Honor confirmed rental agreements
• Respond to rental requests within 24 hours
• Communicate clearly about tool pickup and return procedures

Renters must:

• Use tools only for their intended purpose
• Return tools on time and in the same condition as received
• Report any damage or issues immediately to the tool owner
• Complete payment as agreed directly with the tool owner
• Verify tool condition at pickup and return using OTP codes
• Treat borrowed tools with care and respect

• No listing fees — List as many tools as you want for free
• No service fees — We don't charge commissions on rentals
• No platform fees — Creating an account and browsing is completely free
• Direct payments — All arrangements are made directly between users
• No hidden charges — What you see is what you get

• Renters may cancel before owner acceptance without issue
• Post-acceptance cancellations should be communicated promptly
• Any refund policies are determined directly between users
• Rentoos encourages clear communication and flexibility

• Rentoos is a connection platform only — not responsible for tool condition or safety
• Users assume all risks associated with tool sharing and use
• Rentoos does not provide insurance coverage for rentals
• Users agree to indemnify Rentoos against any claims arising from tool sharing
• We recommend documenting tool condition with photos before and after rental

Users may not:

• List stolen, illegal, or dangerous items
• Engage in fraudulent activities or scams
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Misrepresent tool condition or rental terms
• Abuse the review or rating system

All Rentoos content — logos, trademarks, design, and software — is owned by Rentoos or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant Rentoos a license to display and distribute it on the platform.

• First, attempt to resolve issues directly with the other party
• Contact Rentoos support for mediation assistance if needed
• Maintain records of all communications and tool condition photos
• Cooperate fully with any investigation or mediation efforts

While Rentoos can provide mediation, we cannot enforce payment, returns, or other agreements between users.

Rentoos reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the platform community. Users may delete their own accounts at any time through account settings.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email and display a notice on the platform.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
